HEY! I’m Sam! I live in North Chesterfield, Virginia, and I love it here. Behind the camera, besides being a huge fan of puns, I’m a cat mom to four very personality-filled cats. I’m always down for pizza, tacos, or spaghetti. When I’m not photographing love stories, you’ll probably find me exploring the world—whether that’s roaming the wilderness in a national park (I’m plotting my next adventure to cross more off the list!), hunting for hidden treasures while thrifting (my guilty pleasure), or getting creative with another roll of 35mm film to capture those raw, real moments in a nostalgic way.

Photography isn’t just my job—it’s my passion. I live for the real, raw, and joy-filled moments: the way your partner looks at you when you’re not paying attention, the goofy giggles during in-between moments, and the kind of love that makes time slow down.

Besides loving the blue skies with ocean views or mountains rolling in the distance, I’ll always enjoy being super goofy while capturing the genuine smiles from kids and loving partners—the moments that feel the most real and full of life. I have a deep love for film photography, where every frame is intentional, every grain tells a story, and the imperfect moments are often the most magical. But let me tell you my love for digital too, the way I get to act as if it's a canvas and create!

My goal? To capture photos that feel like you—the unfiltered, love-soaked, adventurous, and totally, perfect, you.

I fell in love with capturing real, messy, beautiful moments—the tiny details people forget that make life feel so full.

 ♡If you could spend a day exactly how you wanted, what would it look like?

Couch potatoing, thrifting, and exploring a national park—basically a mix of cozy, quirky, and adventure.

♡What’s a little-known fact about you?

I model for other photographers, and I love vintage fashion, nostalgia, and finding little hidden gems wherever I go

♡What’s your ultimate treat or guilty pleasure?

Chocolate. Always chocolate. Reeses, chocolate, chocolate. More Reese's. Basically, if it’s chocolate or Reese's, I’m there.

♡What’s one thing you love capturing most in your work?

Authentic moments—the laughter, the quiet glances, the tiny gestures that feel like home.

♡What’s your favorite way to spend a Sunday morning?

Caffeine in hand and doom scrolling (guilty!), keeping it simple, cozy, and maybe a little recharging.

♡What’s your dream travel spot?

All the national parks—they’re all equally magical. Also, Anchorage, Alaska, for the adventure and wide-open skies.

♡What’s a tiny thing that instantly makes you happy?

Cozy sweatpants and an oversized sweatshirt—comfort = instant joy.

♡If you could be a kid again for a day, what would you do?

Climb my grandma’s magnolia tree, search for caterpillars, ride bikes around the yard, and just enjoy the simplicity of being a kid.

♡What’s one thing you always carry with you?

Medicine—migraines are my constant companion, so I never leave home without it.

Where I’ll Be in 2026

I’m always on the move, chasing light, adventure, and stories to capture. Here’s where I’ll be this year:

• Mid August – September: Epic road trip! Starting at the Redwoods, then Crescent Lake, Salem, Cannon Beach, and making my way up to Washington to explore Olympic, Mount Rainier, and the North Cascades. Perfect timing for adventurous elopements, couples sessions, and creative content.
